Being the largest camp on the island of Cres and Lošinj, Camp Čikat will provide you with unforgettable holiday moments. The camp is located in Čikat bay on the island of Lošinj, an area presently covered with thick pine forest thanks to the vision of a group of individuals, primarily Prof. Ambroz Haračić. Professor Haračić and some like minded people began to forest the island some one hundred years ago, so the entire island is now covered with pine, especially Čikat and Sunčana Uvala (Sunny Bay). The town of Mali Lošinj, only a 15-minute light stroll from Camp Čikat, is the proud winner of the 2007 Tourism Champion award and the Silver Flower of Europe 2009, which speaks volumes about the development of tourist facilities and services on the island. Camp Čikat is connected to the town by a tourist train that you, and especially your children, will be delighted with it. The camp offers accommodation on Premium, Comfort and Standard camping pitches as well as on non-parcelled plots within the campsite. In addition, you can settle into a fully equipped mobile homes or caravan. Premium pitches are the most luxurious camp accommodation type, located near the sea and with access to electricity and water. Comfort and Standard pitches are a little away from the sea, in the dense shade of the Čikat pine forest. Mobile homes are, like the Premium pitches, located in the first row to the sea. A "family friendly" camp, Camp Čikat is focused on families with small children, which is why it offers many facilities for your little ones. The Pepé family fun park is the first children’s playing facility of irs kind in Croatian camps, intended for children between the ages of 3 and 12. Our entertainment team has prepared many options for small children, as well as teenagers and adults who like to have an active holiday filled with sport and fun entertainment. Diverse offer for all age groups There are many sports and entertainment facilities in and around the camp, such as tennis, basketball, soccer, mini golf, windsurfing lessons and scuba diving lessons. The camp is a part of the Aromas and Tastes of Lošinj project launched by the Mali Lošinj Tourist Board, so it is landscaped with indigenous Lošinj plants and small aromatic gardens, all to be found within Čikat. You can try some Lošinj specialties prepared with native Lošinj herbs in our restaurant while staying in the camp. Camp Čikat is the right choice for people who like to combine comfortable accommodation, camping with children, plenty of sun, resting in the shade and swimming in crystal clear seas with sport and entertainment possibilities.
